This week for our lock pick we’ll be looking at a 6 point tease involving the Chiefs and the Chargers.
The Chiefs are -9.5 favorites coming into Denver to play the Broncos. Coming off a bizarre win against New England, the Broncos look to be returning Melvin Gordon and Noah Fant to the field. Even with the offensive boost, it’s hard to imagine them keeping up with the star studded Chiefs team that just added Le’Veon Bell.
On the other side of our tease we got the Chargers sitting at -7.5 home favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Justin Hebert has been far better than expected and we expect him to be even sharper coming off the Bye Week. This team is way better than the 1-5 record they have on the year and they are going to prove that this weekend against a struggling Jaguars team.
With the 6 point tease we’re taking the Chiefs at -3.5 and the Chargers and -1.5. That gets us under the -140 target odds at -120.

Longshot 🎯
Bears ML (+225)
Ever heard the phrase Defense wins Championships?” Well the Bears probably aren’t winning any titles anytime soon, but their defense has looked really good thus far. After last week, the Bears defense is ranked 6th in DVOA. They cause a lot of trouble for Tom Brady and the Bucs in week 5 and we could see a similar outcome for Jared Goff and the Rams in this matchup. The harder obstacle for Chicago will be if Nick Foles can do enough to put up points.
Panthers ML (+280)
Despite losing their greatest asset in Christian McCaffrey, the Panthers have been winning games. Teddy Bridgewater will return to New Orleans to take on his former team. The Saints haven’t been the consistent team we’ve been accustomed too in the past. There’s also a chance that Michael Thomas doesn’t play after tweaking his hamstring in practice this weak. Drew Brees has had a lot more trouble moving the ball this year when Thomas has been out.
We are hoping for a lot things to go our way in this one, but that’s why it’s called a longshot. 🤙🏼
